God is good all the time...
I'm going to start this so everyone can see her updates...this will save me from repeating to friends and family who love us and care so much for us...but it doesn't mean that I mind repeating...

- Last Thursday: didn't feel well and thought she needed blood transfusion before flying back on Sunday so we went to North York General ER
- Last Friday: Blood test came back not good (her leukemia came back), doctors not recommended her to fly so they cancelled the tickets
- Last Saturday: Will need to be transferred to Princess Margaret but will need to wait til Monday, Mom is in pain and shortage of breath, the room was dry so needed to drink lots of water and therefore, needed to go washroom almost every hour, can't sleep well
- Sunday: Fian and Grandma both left to HK as planned, now it's my turn to take care of them (Thanks Fian for everything in the 11 months). Her WBC are getting lower but platelets and hemoglobin are still low.
- Monday: Mom got admitted to Princess Margaret evening, thank God. Did blood tests, CT scans and bone marrow biopsy. She feels better, joints pain are less severe but her lips are bleeding. WBC is now in control, not the platelets and hemoglobin though.
- Tuesday: Met the doctors Tuesday, CT scan came back positive which means she has Pneumonia (lung infection). Did more transfusions and antibiotics.
Princess Margaret Hospital will be my second home from now on, I know...Mom is now on 15th floor (isolated room) with a nice view but facing west, so Dad was complaining that it's hot in the late afternoon...they even have free wifi there, so she gets to check emails and stuff...Glo and I dropped off some soups from Yau auntie and uncle and Yuen Poon Monday night...the pick up was not on the way but I'll do what I can do...thanks for the soups!!! DVP was so smooth, took us only 20mins up...parking on the street side was free after 9pm, so everything is good...brought some necessities for them, especially Dad as he plans to stay with Mom 24/7...what an example of a husband
Mom felt a lot better yesterday, slept well (so did Dad)...her joints pain is much better but her lips were bleeding and was bugging her...so she needed to keep using ice to ease off the pain...only I went down last night cuz' Cheryl has a meeting on Tuesday, so Glo needed to stay home...the doctors here said treatments she received so far from HK are mild with less side effects...they will try something more aggressive when her body is ready...back in HK, 60s are too old for blood transplant but doctors here said 60s are still young enough, so now blood transplant is back as an option, thank God for the two Uncles of mine, pray that their bone marrow will match if we are to go that way...Dad had a break last night with Carly (my cousin who's also a doctor and has some connections in PM) who lives 5mins walk from PM...they had Korean dinner together...and Dad got to go up for a shower (thanks Carly and Tyler)...I dropped off Yuen Poon's soup again...it was good (yea, I had some too, hahaha)...
God has His plan, now Mom gets to spend more time here in Canada, with her son, daughter in law, two grandsons, her mom and lots of friends who love her and care so so much for her...I know Auntie Constance is even trying to set up a soup team!
Pray that God will give wisdom to the Doctors and team so Mom can be healed, pray that her blast cells are in control and that Mom will not suffer...pray also that Dad will be able to stay healthy to take care of Mom and his blood pressure will stay low...
Romans 8:38-39, "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
God is always here with us. Even though we drifted away from time to time, I know he is watching .... and guide our way.
